While the instruments are still nascent, most of the papers and presentations have so far focused on the theoretical grounding for the SOMAS/SOMADS families of instruments and results from pilot studies of the S-SOMAS. This page highlights selected papers and presentations that are good touchstones for getting oriented to the research from this project, but a complete list of all papers and presentations related to the development of the SOMAS/SOMADS families of instruments is also available. Join Statistical Meetings 2024

We have two presentations from JSM 2024:

• An overview of the MASDER project including the guiding theoretical models, example items, and the website used for administering the family of instruments. (PDF of slides)
• An exploration of national trends from our stratified random sample including estimates of the prevalence of statistics and data science majors, minors, and introductory courses. (PDF of slides)
